Process is typically this – For the city of Los Angeles, this (below) LADWP COC (Certificate of Compliance) is filled out by the retrofitter, and the blue ink original is then mailed to escrow. Escrow then will send in the fee ($15) directly to the LADWP by check with this original signed COC.
Note: This COC needs to be in blue ink (original) signature by the retrofitter or broker, but the signatures of the buyer and the seller may be digital (Docusigned).
